The Butler Catholic fifth-sixth grade boys basketball team recently wrapped up its second successive perfect 14-0 season in North B section play.

The Saints defeated St. Teresa of Perrysville, 39-26, in their final section game. Nathan Higgins scored 14 points, Carson Laconi 10 and CJ Singleton eight.

Other recent wins were 37-23 over St. Gregory and 48-22 over St. Kilian, Higgins scoring 16 points, Nick Maher 14 and Laconi 10 in the latter game.

Butler Catholic is 26-3 overall this season.

Team members include Higgins, Sean LeMay, Maher, Josiah McConnell, Trevor Braun, Jacob Klinko, Laconi, Jon Livermore, Nick Rine, Singleton, Daniel Voelker and Flint Watson.

The Butler Junior High eighth grade boys White team ended their season with a 42-25 win over Seneca Valley Black.

Isaiah Scribner scored 14 points for Butler with Patrick McLachlin adding 13 and Luke Patten nine. Patten drained three 3-pointers
