YOUTH SPORTS

The Pittsburgh Huskies U18AA hockey team closed its PAHL regular season with a 5-2 win over the South Hills Panthers over the weekend.

The Huskies were 17-1-2 in the regular season.

Brett Berner scored two goals in the win while Troy Double had a goal and assist, Connor Scott and Christian Miller a goal each. Clay Bachman made 15 saves in goal.

The Huskies will compete in the PAHL Championships this weekend at Center Ice in Delmont.

Wrestling

Levi Donnel, 9, of Butler took first place in the 10-under, 65-pound class at the Friends of Franklin open wrestling tournament over the weekend.

Santino Sloboda, 7, of Butler took third place in the 8-under, 50-pound division.
