Butler Bikes & BBQ, a new summer event in the county, will be held from July 17 to 19 at the Butler Farm Show Grounds on Route 68 in Butler Township.

The event is sponsored by the county's Tourism and Convention Bureau.

A motorcycle parade down Main Street in Butler on July 16 will kick off the weekend event. The parade will lead to the farm show grounds.

Motorcycles, food and merchandise vendors, motorcycle accessories and live entertainment will be featured at the event.

Motorcyclists who attend can follow suggested driving routes that will lead them along scenic back roads to various historic landmarks, museums and interesting towns in the county.

The suggested rides will be 50, 75 and 100 miles.

Hours will be 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. July 17, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. July 18 and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 19.

All ages are welcome to attend, and admission and parking are free.
