Champion, Heider

Julie and Feller Heider

Butler residents Julie Champion and Feller Heider were united in marriage at 2 p.m. July 7 at Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church in Saxonburg. The Rev. David Brewer officiated. A reception followed at the South Butler Fire Hall.

The bride is the daughter of James and Maureen Walker of Saxonburg. Parents of the bridegroom are Albert and Brenda Heider of Butler.

The honor attendant was Amy Hillard of Georgetown. Bridesmaids included Diana Matteoni, Debby Zulick and Kristen Snyder, all of Butler; Melinda Heasley of Erie; and Christina Irvine of Cabot.

Performing the duties of best man was Pete Zulick of Butler. Ushers included Jonathan Walker of Saxonburg; Brian Smail of Clarion; Mike Ellis and Roger Welsh, both of Butler; and Doug Buhrow of Oak Harbor, Ohio.

The bride is a 1994 graduate of Knoch High School. She also attended Clarion University. She is employed by MSP in Cranberry Township.

The bridegroom graduated in 1989 from Butler High School and attended Penn State Erie, The Behrend College. He works for I.B.E.W. Local 5 in Pittsburgh.

Following a honeymoon trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple is making their home in Butler.
