Sarver, Greenawalt

Amanda and Bryan Greenawalt

Butler residents Amanda Sarver and Bryan Greenawalt were united in marriage at 4 p.m. July 28 at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler. The Rev. Harry Bielewicz officiated. A reception followed at the Oakview Golf Club.

The bride is the daughter of Ralph and Diana Sarver of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Richard and Pauline Greenawalt of East Brady.

The matron of honor was Tracy Taylor of Butler. Bridesmaids included Megan Negley and Terra Lucas, both of Butler; Malaika Staff of Silver Spring, Md.; and Deborah Byerly of East Brady.

Performing the duties of best man was Brad Greenawalt of East Brady. Ushers included Colin Leyland and Murphy Sarver, both of Butler; Josh Friters of Greenville; and Greg Ridley of Monroeville.

The bride is a 1997 graduate of Moniteau High School and a 2001 graduate of Slippery Rock University. She works as a teacher in the Moniteau School District.

The bridegroom graduated in 1997 from Karns City High School and in 2001 from Indiana (Pa.) University. He works for Fidelity Investments in Wexford.

Following a honeymoon trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple is making their home in Butler.
