Pickett, Mohney
Shanna Pickett and Scott Mohney were united in marriage July 5 at the Oakview Golf Club in Slippery Rock. The Rev. Lynn Yeso officiated. A reception followed at the same location.
The bride is the daughter of Dirk and Ronda Pickett of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are William Mohney of Bluffton, S.C., and Diane Mohney of Butler.
The honor attendant was Rebekah Pickett of Erie. Bridesmaids included Michelle Kujbus of West Sunbury, Laura Christy of York, Genevieve Garing of Butler, Amanda Allen of Woburn, Mass., Christine Mohney of Butler and Mindy Mohney of Butler. Flower girl was Jessica Mohney of Butler.
Performing the duties of best man was Troy Mohney of Butler. Ushers included Adam Mohney of Butler, Joseph Self of Butler, Lyneil Mitchell of Cincinnati, Wayne Baker of Zelienople, Jay Keener of Charlotte, S.C.; Michael Tack of East Butler, Terry Sumanski of Erie and Pat Stevenson of Butler. Ring bearer was Brady Shuler of Butler.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Butler High School and a 2008 graduate of Butler County Community College.
The bridegroom graduated in 1998 from Butler High School and in 2002 from Slippery Rock University. He works for Accredo in Warrendale.
Following a honeymoon trip to Hilton Head, S.C., the couple is making their home in Butler.
