UNIVERSITY PARK — Jennifer Chelko, a Penn State student majoring in toxicology, was selected as a College of Agricultural Sciences Alumni Society Internship Award winner.
Chelko was a summer intern for Elanco Animal Health in Gaithersburg, Md., where she worked on a research project in a biochemistry/microbiology laboratory in the research and development department.
She is a member of the university’s Marching Blue Band as a national champion Touch of Blue majorette. She serves on the THON committee and assists with outreach and science engagement events sponsored by the Eberly College of Science.
Chelko is a graduate of Freeport High School. She is the daughter of Michael and Shirley Chelko of Sarver.
