4:46 p.m. Thursday — A van driven by Louise Gallagher, 87, of Butler, a Jeep driven by Denise Thiel, 38, of Butler and a car driven by Karen Hursh, 65, of Evans City collided on Center Avenue. All three drivers and two passengers suffered minor injuries, but declined medical treatment.6:47 p.m. Wednesday — Brandie Blystone, 21, of Butler was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property after she allegedly tried to leave Walmart in Butler Commons with about $128 worth of merchandise without paying.10:22 a.m. Feb. 9 — Shaun D. Sheakley, 33, of Karns City was charged with DUI and possession of a controlled substance following a traffic accident in the Butler Commons parking lot. Sheakley's vehicle allegedly stuck a parked car occupied by Brittany Arent, 20, of New Castle. No injuries were reported.
1:26 a.m. Friday — David Ferguson, 25, of Grove City was arrested under suspicion of DUI following a traffic stop for allegedly driving erratically on Carrie Way and George Junior roads.1:17 a.m. Friday — Police are searching for a small, red pickup truck believed to have been involved in a hit-and-run accident at the intersection of East Main Street and Summit Avenue. The vehicle struck a street sign and an embankment and should have corresponding damage to its undercarriage, tires and rims.8:28 p.m. Wednesday — Mason McFeathers, 19, of Harrisville was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident at the McDonald's restaurant on West Main Street.
7 a.m. Tuesday — Someone stole a 1978 GMC 2500 dual-wheel dump truck from the yard of 133 Lardintown Road in Clinton Township and belonging to Thomas Ruediger of Sarver, between 9 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday. The truck was dragged for several miles, leaving a tire mark trail from Lardintown Road through Saxonburg, across Route 356, then onto Marwood and Spiker roads.10:57 p.m. Feb. 16 — Aaron J. Hicks, 30, of Butler was charged with DUI following a traffic stop on Route 8, between Wayne Avenue and Pepperland Boulevard, in Butler. Hicks allegedly was clocked at 65 mph in a 35 mph zone.
Feb. 12 — James W. Saunders, 45, of Grove City was charged with failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements and false information to law enforcement after he allegedly lied about his address and failed to disclose his employer when registering with state police.
11 p.m. Wednesday — Amber E. Thompson, 31, of Renfrew was arrested under suspicion of DUI after she was allegedly discovered passed out behind the wheel of her vehicle in the middle of Route 28 by a state trooper.
