Hope Radvinski

HARRISBURG — Hope Radvinski was one of 15 students who received a $5,000 a year scholarship from the Pennsylvania Automotive Association, an organization representing franchised new car and truck dealers.

Radvinski is a 2015 graduate of Butler High School with plans to attend Westminster College in the fall.

Radvinski has been a participant in charitable organizations. She is a member of the youth group at Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church where she participated in the 30-hour famine, mission trips and community meals. She was a volunteer for Heifer International, Foreman Christian College, World Vision and Fishbone Ministries.

She is the daughter of Esther Radvinski who is employed by Hunter Truck Sales and Service.

Bennett Thoma of Butler received the Trueman Mills Pillar of Leadership Award during the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Program at Westminster College.

He won for bringing positive and optimistic support and leadership to all situations and circumstances in an effort to make the world a better place.

He was sponsored by the Butler AM Rotary.
