TIME CAPSULE
EARLY JEEP HONORS — The owners of the Bantam Car Company and a brigadier general were honored guests at a banquet marking the dedication of the Jeep Monument in Diamond Park in 1960. From left are Henry C. Coyle, chairman of Past Commanders Association, American Legion, W.O. Ward Jr. and R.S. Evans, owners of the firm which originated the Jeep; and Gen. Durward E. Breakefield, commanding officer of Letterkenney Ordnance Depot, Chambersburg. The general spoke on the dual topic of the Jeep and Veterans Day.
