Logan Donnel, Carter Archer and Levi Donnel all placed first in their respective age and weight divisions for Butler at the recent Hookstown Novice Wrestling Tournament.

Logan Donnel won at 12-under 80 pounds, Archer at 8-under 85 pounds, Levi Donnel at 8-under 50 pounds. Jack Codispot placed second at 12-under 85 pounds, Justice Schmeider third at 8-under 65 pounds, Cameron Elliot fourth at 6-under.

In other action:

Knoch’s youth wrestling program participated in the North Allegheny Young Guns Tournament. Dalton Reed won at 10-under 100 pounds and Dustin Schlagel won at 10-under 110 pounds.

Gavin McGowan was second at 8-under 60 pounds, Karl Kaltenhauser second at 15-under 175, Matt Walter second at 15-under 147. Christian Scheller was third at 8-under 65 pounds, Chase Mullen fourth at 12-under 85-90, Jon Martin fourth at 12-under 80 pounds.

Scheller won the 8-under 60-pound division at the recent Shaler Area Novice Tournament while Kyle Lauster won at 10-under 65 pounds. Zane Lynch was second at 8-under 60 pounds, Dalton Reed second at 10-under 100 pounds.
