[naviga:h3]Chicora slates Light-Up Night[/naviga:h3]

CHICORA — Chicora’s fifth annual Chicora Light-Up Night will be Nov. 25.

Events include a 2 p.m. Candy Cane Crawl/Pooch Parade with Light-Up Night festivities beginning at 4 p.m. and ending with a 7 p.m. tree blessing and lighting.

Throughout the evening there will be local entertainment at the staging area, Magician Dan Kuniak, Paw Patrol characters, an ice-carving demonstration, donation of a check to Petroleum Valley Youth Center (money collected from the Candy Cane Crawl and Pooch Parade), the Spirit of Community Award presentation and many vendors.

[naviga:h3]Breakfast with Santa scheduled[/naviga:h3]

The Butler County Parks and Recreation Department will have a “Breakfast with Santa” program from 10:30 a.m. to noon Dec. 1 at the Butler Township Park Building, 468 S. Duffy Road.

The program is designed for children from toddler through 10 years old.
