Camp Cranberry open for summer
Cranberry Township’s summer youth camps aims to be bigger, better and safer than ever.
From June 7 to Aug. 20, Camp Cranberry will be open for youths age 3 through 15.
The township says the camp focuses on developing physical, social and decision-making skills and promoting self-confidence.
The camp is separated into four groups: Mini Movers, 3- to 4-year-olds; Little Achievers, 5 to 6 years old; Youth Camp, 6 to 8 and 9 to 12 year olds; and Future Leaders, 13 to 15 years old.
Half-day hours are available for Mini Movers and Little Achievers, and meal plans and extended care are also available.
In 2021, the camp will include balloon artists, a mad scientist workshop, live animal presentations and the Audubon Society of Western Pa.
Princesses, superheroes and local police and K9 officers and firefighters will also be present, and the township will add additional guests throughout the summer.
The township waterpark will be open to campers each day.
