Jeffrey “Jeff” Emery, 62, of Harrisville, passed away Sunday, Oct. 25, 2026.

He was born in Butler on July 19, 1964, the son of the late William “Dale” and Judy (Hepler) Emery.

He attended Clarence Brown School and the Lifesteps’ Best Program and Merakey day programs, where he enjoyed many activities with his friends and caregivers.

Jeff’s main hobby was his love for food and enjoying the outdoors on a swing.

Jeff holds a special place in anyone’s heart who knew him. Though he could not talk, he expressed himself in unique ways. He will be dearly missed by his friends, family and will always hold a special place in his heart for his caregivers at Valley Community Services, where he lived for 37 years.

Jeff is survived by his brother, Rick (Mary) Emery.

EMERY — All services for Jeffrey “Jeff” Emery, who died Sunday, Oct. 25, 2026, will be held privately through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Jeff to Stray Solutions or Oak Hills Christian Church.
