To John

John,

While I agree sometimes it seems as though people have their high beams on, sometimes that is not the case. Take the example of some of the newer trucks (my hubby has one). His lights actually shine so bright and I feel bad for oncoming traffic, but these are the low beams! My headlights in the car on no where near that bright! So blame the manufacturer in some cases, not the driver.

I do have a peeve (as usual) though to people who do NOT even use headlights, especially when the sun is not yet up or when the sun is going down - DUMB. If I had my druthers, it would be a state law to drive with your headlights on (or at least your parking lights) at ALL times.

I agree with the other fella about the turn signals too - people need to start using these. I had one person stop directly in front of me and then put their signal on to turn after they had STOPPED!

Stopping is another peeve - a STOP sign is just that - not a roll through or I think since no one is sitting there, I'll just skip it - it means STOP.

Our town clowns and staties need to start ticketing people for things like this. And one way streets are just that - ONE WAY, not one way part way like I've seen some people do in the area of Chestnut and Penn.

Enjoy our holidays and stay safe and obey the laws.
