Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is repaving the Route 422 East to Kittanning ramp off Route 8 in Butler and Center townships Friday, Oct. 23.

The ramp will be closed between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

To detour, motorists traveling Route 8 South to Route 422 East will take the Route 422 West ramp and travel 2.8 miles to the Route 356 and Route 422 ramps to travel east.

Detour and closure signs will be posted during closure. The project is estimated to cost $13.6 million.
