VA Butler Healthcare Healthcare gets funds for infrastructure improvements
As part of federal efforts to modernize facilities, VA Butler Healthcare Healthcare received funding for nonrecurring maintenance projects happening at the end of this year.
This includes funding for pharmacy renovation and the repurposing of a building for engineering and other functions.
“This funding allows VA Butler Healthcare Healthcare System to continue modernizing and improving so our facility remains safe, efficient and equipped to provide high-quality care for our veterans in central Pennsylvania,” executive director Sharon Coyle said in a news release.
The funding is part of $4.8 billion in nationwide VA spending to modernize, repair and improve healthcare facilities in 2026 via the Veterans Health Administration’s Non-Recurring Maintenance program.
