Lisa...Thanks for letting me know about Charlie. It's neat that he is still living. I have really been enjoying all the posted memories lately. Someone mentioned Bills Bargain. I had forgotten all about it. I really liked that store too. D & K has not been gone all that long but it was one of my favorites back in the early 70's and yes, I remember Howard Johnson's being on North Main Street. We used to go and eat lunch there once in a while. And I remember the Sugar Bowl too. Sometimes we'd stop there for a hot fudge sundae. I still haven't found chocolate near as good, but Jamison's in New Castle is not bad. I have a friend who mails me some of it on special occassions. Thanks again for all the happy thoughts!
