Thomas from Pittsburgh
Thomas, you are an example of negativity and I am glad that you are not living in Butler anymore. The people of Butler are wonderful! Sure there are problems; what city doesn't have them? That isn't what makes a city great or terrible. How people deal with those issues is what counts. I see Butler moving forward in a positive direction. Things are looking better every time I go to town. New brigdes being built;run down areas being revitalized; tons of people shopping at the malls; (Main street on New years eve was terrific!) Everyone was cheerful and happy and very very nice. There is always something to do too. People should really take a second look at whats going on with Butler; from where I am sitting it just keeps getting better. The best way to insure that it keeps getting better is for everyone to do their part in helping the cause, take part in whats going on and take pride in where you live. That's what makes a house a home and that is what makes a city great as well. A cities strength lies within its people, the same is true of its weakness. Its up to each and everyone of us to continue to make Butler a great place to live and work. I say phoohey on nah sayers and people with negative attitudes. I think Butler and its people are terrific! Learn to see good in things and you may actually become a happier person. Things can always be worse. Remember nothing is perfect.Anyway, that is how I feel about Butler and its people.
