One person was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital following a single-vehicle crash Saturday, Oct. 17, on McCalmont Road in Butler Township, according to Butler County Emergency Services dispatch recordings.

McCalmont Road was temporarily shut down following the crash at 5 p.m. in the area of 368 McCalmont Road.

Emergency responders reported one vehicle on the side of the road with “heavy damage” and a possible ejection, according to dispatch recordings.

UPMC STAT MedEvac responded and transported the patient to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, according to dispatch recordings.

Butler Township Volunteer Fire District, Butler Bureau of Fire and Butler Ambulance Service also responded.
