The Butler Eagle has been made aware of a television campaign ad recently aired incorrectly citing the newspaper. An ad supporting state House Rep. Brandon Dukes in his campaign for the 12th District seat stated “Timko cuts state funding to our schools.”

The Eagle took issue with the language because it didn’t align with our reporting.

Further, the date cited was not the date of publication for any news related to Timko. Dukes’ campaign was made aware and has since removed the Eagle’s citation.
