Jackson, I have been a single WORKING mom for almost 15 years. Like I said in my second post, I have a job that pays well. I don't NEED the child support to the extent that some mothers do. The point is, Jackson, if the support payment is taken from my ex before he gets his SS check on the first of each month and I don't get it until two or more weeks later, WHERE IS THE MONEY? Who is collecting interest on it? The money belongs, in essence, to my 17 years old daughter. She is not the one collecting the interest so who is???

I am not offended by your comments or your questions, Jackson. I am getting frustrated because you seem to want to make me out to be some kind of lazy, deadbeat mom when quite the opposite is true. I realize that I cannot change the system but I also know that I have the right to question, comment, and even complain when I feel the system is wrong.
