Have you followed the story about the beating of the drunk at the Day's Inn in Butler? Well this guy gets so drunk that the management tries to throw him out but he keeps coming back. So the bar tender takes him outside to fight. The manager of the hotel and the bar manager go out with them to watch apparently just for amusment. The drunk is beaten into a coma that lasts for weeks. The manager of the Day's Innn calls 911 but lies about the whole thing and claims he didn't know what happened to the guy. Now the hotel is being sued,the bar tender is being sued, the bar manager is being sued and the hotel owners are being sued. The only thing that surprise me is that no one was fired. Apparently the parent company condones such activity. I wish I could get a cut from what the lawyers make on this one. Meanwhile the drunk (victim if you will) is still half senseless.
