12:20 p.m.. Sunday — An unknown vehicle struck a legally parked car owned by Kelly Ruby of Butler while it was parked at the Kmart parking lot. The front driver's side fender and bumper area were damaged.

9 p.m. Sunday — A car driven by David McGlennen, 48, of Evans City overturned on Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township after swerving to miss a deer.10:15 a.m. Sunday — A car driven by Joshua Miller, 20, of Butler swerved to avoid a flying turkey and spun off the east side of Sunbury Road in Center Township. The rear of the vehicle struck landscaping rocks and a ditch before hitting a tree. Miller was taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.2:35 a.m. Sunday — Quaylin Tucker, 20, of Ambridge was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at the Heights Apartment Complex on Stillwater Avenue in Slippery Rock Township.Sunday — An unknown person stole several items from two unlocked vehicles owned by Robbie and Kim Coffaro of Slippery Rock and Joseph Marks of New Wilmington in Lawrence County while they were parked in the Arrow Head Drive area in Slippery Rock Township between 8 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.4 p.m. Saturday — Michael Remaley, 34, of Saxonburg reported juveniles throwing corn cobs at his vehicle while traveling on Dinnerbell Road in Jefferson Township.3:01 a.m. Saturday — Robert G. Hahn, 22, of Evans City was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after his vehicle struck a cement driveway pillar on Route 19 in Lancaster Township.Saturday — Lance Smith of Butler reported the theft of four Groundhog off-road tires worth $800 from the strip mine area behind Steve's Auto Body along Oneida Road in Summit Township. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.3:40 p.m. Friday — Douglas Andre, 20, of Butler was charged with attempted burglary after he was allegedly caught picking the lock of a camper, owned by Frank and Brenda Gamble, by the maintenance staff at the Moraine Camplands in Brady Township. Police said the suspect fled but was later caught.Friday — Andrea Brooks of Jefferson Township reported several items of jewelry — a tennis bracelet, a ruby and diamond ring, and a diamond engagement ring — were stolen from her home at Saxony Estates on Oak Leaf Drive between 6 p.m. Thursday and 4:45 p.m. Friday. Police are investigating.12:35 p.m.. Wednesday — Timothy Lewis Gilliland, 51, of East Butler was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and possession of a controlled substance during a traffic safety checkpoint on Herman Road in Summit Township.Tuesday — Seth Wike, 28, of Butler reported $360 worth of damage done to the passenger side tires on his Dodge Durango between 9 p.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Tuesday. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.Oct. 15 — The Route 422 Car Wash reported the theft of $500 worth of unspecified items from its utility room in Summit Township between 7 p.m. Oct. 14 and 3:30 p.m. Oct. 15. The forcible entry into the room caused $100 worth of damage.

11:30 p.m. Sunday — A person stole a Chevrolet Silverado owned by Brian Schrubb, 37, of Pine Township, Mercer County, from his home at 25 Basham Lane, hitting several trees along Pinchalong Road. Police are investigating.10:17 p.m. Saturday — Two teenage boys, ages 15 and 17, fled George Junior Republic in Pine Township, a residential treatment facility for at-risk youth. They were caught a short time later by facility security and Grove City police.Friday — Barbara Carrara of Pine Township, Mercer County, reported the theft of a Vera Bradley purse and cosmetic case, and a Verizon cell phone from her vehicle while it was parked in her driveway on Oak Hill Drive Extension between Thursday night and Friday. The total value of the items is $175. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call police at 724-662-6162.11 p.m. Wednesday — Craig J. Schaefer, 20, of Grove City and Samantha Lee Mihordin, 25, of Jackson Center, Mercer County, were charged with criminal mischief after allegedly spraypainting the side of a mobile home on Hendersonville Road in Sandy Lake Township owned by Elizabeth Gregory of Stoneboro in Mercer County, causing $150 in damage, and spraypainting six PennDOT road signs along Griffin and Rowitsch roads, causing $149 in damage.5:10 p.m. Oct. 13 — Terresa McMillen, 35, of Canton, Ohio, was charged with retail theft after allegedly stealing more than $407 worth of merchandise from the VF Outlet store at the Premium Outlets mall in Springfield Township, Mercer County.
