Frances "Ellie"Dorsey, 81, formerly of Ingomar North, McCandless, died Friday.

She was the beloved wife of the late Harry F. Dorsey; the loving mother of Phillip Dorsey and Kathy Scheller, both of Valencia; grandmother of Bryan and Kristin Scheller; and sister of Marilynn H. Peterson of New York.

Frances was a retired teacher and had a Bachelor of Science in education from the University of Central Arkansas and a Master of Arts from Vanderbilt University.
