Local producers are invited to attend a pesticide update session planned for Oct. 24 from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Deerfield Farms Service location in New Wilmington.

The meeting has been approved by the state Department of Agriculture for two core credits and two category 01 credits toward updating a private or commercial pesticide applicator's license.

Ryan Hockensmith, a Deerfield Agronomist, will lead the discussion.
