Adda M. Cousins
In loving memory of my beloved grandmother, Adda M. Cousins, who passed away 40 years ago today, October 28, 1967.
Sleep on my beloved grandmother, sleep and take thy rest,
Lay down thy head upon thy Savior's breast.
We loved thee well, but Jesus love's thee best.
Grandma, 40 years have passed since you were called to Paradise. Ironically it is the same number of years, that General Overseer A.J. Tomlinson, guided the Glorious Church of God, this side of the Dark Ages, of which you were a faithful member for 35 years. Today, my Heart is heavy and somber, but yet I have a sense of Joy, for I know Grandma, you are at rest in Peace with Jesus, awaiting the Masters' Call of "Well, Done Adda,Thou Good and Faithful Servant". Time has cushioned the sorrow of your passing, but not the emptiness in my Soul. Your last thoughts on this Earth were, "Everything will be alright", and I know your Prayer was that we all will once again meet on that Beautiful Shore. I Love You Grandma, I Miss You, now, more than ever. Our loss truly was Heaven's gain.
