JACKSON TWP — The Seneca Valley School Board recently approved a new club at Seneca Valley High School that will allow students to connect with the Rotary International organization.

Called the Interact Club, any student between the ages of 12 and 18 can join.

The club will do two service projects a year, one to help the school and the community and another to promote international understanding.

The Interact Club will meet at least twice a month and is sponsored by Rotary clubs such as the two Cranberry Rotary clubs, the Zelienople club and the Evans City club.

According to school officials, the club will allow students to connect with community leaders, develop leadership skills and make international connections.
