Debate
It's quite obvious that the people engaged in this debate of Gardasil, are very adamant and intrepid of their opinion. I suppose that this is only illustrative of the every-broadening isle between 'left' and 'right'. If a miracle pill (no implication of deity by miracle) did exist that would guard against all form and types of STDs, how long would it take for a 'new' disease to appear? What about our vaccines that are useless with new strains of old diseases, sexually transmitted or not? Life is ever changing, or mutating if you prefer, yet it's all the same. Fifty years from now, there will be a new vaccine for a waiting to be discovered disease, and debating the pros and cons of it are the yet to be born 'lefts' and 'rights.' But what we can most certainly count on is the youth becoming more and more liberal and more and more lax in judgements concerning their self and their bodies. Call this morality, principle, right and wrong, call it what you want. But if Dr. Adlja is correct in his very disturbing statement of schools as part of government, then be sure, the succeeding generations will reproduce that which is instilled. Civil Rights used to be something to be proud of, a great accomplishment. Now freedom of expression and civil rights represent anything. This 'Natural Law' that Mr. Dec so profoundly speaks of, is the reason for all of our sciences today (described of as oculltic and banned by the corrupt popes) as it is of religion. But why is religion a threat? You can reason that religion feeds on fear, and that America might turn into an Iran, that 'religious people' are un educated and a lost relic of gothic times. Tell me please, how will religion differ from public education, if our schools evolve into a pulpit of political agenda? Religion is not banned from public education, it's only been replaced by humanism defined of by separation of church and state, reformed by a few judges in the sixties, and upheld by minority interest lobbying congress. Ninety percent of Americans believe in God, so whose interest is the government really representing?
In fear of getting 'shut down' by the Eagle and in hopes of some sort of progress, I will practice restraint in my at times very colorfully brash writing. All four of us are very sound in our beliefs, and this is a very welcomed change of apathetic posts, but what is the point if we only 'bash' each other?
