Lanny E. Dillaman, 68, of West Sunbury, passed away the evening of Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026.

He was born Jan. 30, 1958, the son of the late Robert L. and Nancy L. (Patterson) Dillaman.

Lanny graduated from Moniteau High School, Class of 1976. He retired after working as a tow-truck driver for Pry’s Towing. He enjoyed driving figure 8 races and also watching them. He also enjoyed watching derbies with his family. Most of all, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Lanny is survived by his wife of 44 years, Jean Dillaman; two sons, Joey (Katrina) Dillaman, of Slippery Rock, and Henry (Brittnee) Dillaman, of Butler; six grandchildren, Matthew, Jayden, Adisyn, Lily, Zachery and Bryan; two sisters, Jackie (Ronald) Arblaster and Betty Walker; two brothers, Bernie (Sherrie) Dillaman and Jim (Karen) Dillaman, all of Slippery Rock; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Monica Dillaman, who passed away July 27, 2026.

DILLAMAN — Family and friends of Lanny E. Dillaman, who died Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026, will be received for visitation from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday Oct. 11, at WILLIAM F. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 132 Main St., West Sunbury.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 12, at the funeral home with Pastor Dave Richendrfer officiating.

Burial will be held privately at West Sunbury Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help the family with funeral expenses.
