Shirley C. Proto, 71, formerly of Saxonburg, died Wednesday in Cincinnati.

She was the beloved wife of the late Amiel A. Proto.

She was the loving mother of Michael C. Proto and Susan M. Wright; grandmother of Justin, Alan and Anna; and sister of Virginia Dunst, Norma DiRenna and Linda Sammons.

<B>PROTO </B>— Friends of Shirley C. Proto, who died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2006, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home</B>, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, where a blessing service will be held at noon Saturday. Burial will be at the Jefferson Memorial Park.
