Nova June Fox
Nova June Fox, 77, of Slippery Rock died peacefully Wednesday at UPMC hospital, Pittsburgh, with her family by her side.
She was born July 6, 1929, in Warren, Warren County.
Mrs. Fox was a devoted wife and mother and an accomplished painter.
She received a bachelor of arts degree from Allegheny College and a master of arts degree from Edinboro University.
She had been an art teacher at Portersville Christian School and was a co-founder of SHH (Self Help for Hard of Hearing People) of Grove City.
She was a former senior warden and president of ECW at the Church of the Epiphany, Grove City.
Surviving are her children, Larnie (Bodil) Fox, Elroy Fox and Colleen (Gary) Dodge; a daughter-in-law, Cindy Fox; and seven grandchildren.
She also is survived by a sister, Mona (William) Bishop, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence W. Fox, and a son, Timothy Fox, who died Nov. 9, 2006.
<B>FOX </B>— Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service for Nova June Fox, who died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2006, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Church of the Epiphany, 870 Liberty St. Extension, Route 173, Grove City.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the church.Arrangements are being handled by <B>D'Alessandro Funeral Home, & crematory</B>, Pittsburgh.
