Robert Burnett
Robert P. Burnett, 82, of Harrisville, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, Oct. 4, 2026.
Bob was born July 28, 1944, in Pittsburgh, and he was raised by Howard and Alice Morrow.
Bob received his education from Slippery Rock Area Schools.
Bob was married to Carol Kellogg on Nov. 6, 1965. She survives and together the couple had six children.
Bob was a welder, having worked for Cooper Bessemer in Grove City and Reznor in Mercer. His last place of employment was working for USIS in Grove City. Bob was a member of Harmony Church in Harrisville, where he was a trustee. Bob was an outdoorsman; he loved to hunt and fish. He was the first one to help with any project that anyone had going on. He and his family looked forward to traveling to the Outer Banks each year. His dear cat, Leo, will miss him, along with his family.
Loved ones to cherish Bob’s memory are his wife, Carol, of Harrisville; his children, Matthew Burnett and wife, Malinda, Daniel Burnett and wife, Tina, Adam Burnett, Seth Burnett and wife, Brittany, Benjamin Burnett and wife, Carly, and Hope Bowman and husband, Mark; his beloved grandchildren, Johnathan, Phillip, Megan (Dana), Jake (Paige), Jordyn (Tristian), Brooke, Grace, Lydia, Fisher, Finley and Molly. His eight great-grandchildren also survive.
Bob was welcomed into heaven by his parents; three infant children; and his granddaughter, Tiffany Desmond.
BURNETT — The family of Robert P. Burnett, who died Sunday, Oct. 4, 2026, will welcome friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, at JAMISON MCKINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 117 N. Main St., Harrisville.
Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 9, at the funeral home.
