Digging deep
Construction workers Wednesday afternoon move dirt at the site of the new Freeport High School athletic stadium along Monroe Road off Route 356 in Buffalo Township. The $3.6 million project is due to be completed for the 2016 fall season. The stadium is one of several Freeport School District projects under way, including a new middle school, totaling nearly $40 million.
