The Moniteau girls softball team celebrates Monday’s 3-0 victory over South Park at North Allegheny High School that put them in the PIAA Class AA championship. Junior Kennedy DeMatteis pitched her 11th consecutive shutout, striking out eight and allowing just three hits, as the Warriors improved to 24-1. They will play defending state champion Holy Redeemer (24-3) from District 2 in the title game at 3 p.m. Thursday at Penn State University.
