Veterans recognized
Seneca Valley High School students show their patriotism amid a cloud of red, white and blue powder before the start of the varsity football game Friday night at NexTier Stadium in Jackson Township.

50 veterans who were honored for their service before the game listen to the national anthem. The veterans also were invited to join the football team in the locker room to apply American flag decals to their helmets. The veterans received parking passes and free tickets for the game. It was the 18th year that the school district held a Veteran Recognition night.
