Corin Smith

City police have been searching for a teen since Monday morning when she was reported missing by her mother.

Corin Smith, 15, went to her room on Sunday evening, after having an argument with her mother and twin sister. Later that night, the girl’s mother, Tara Smith discovered the room was empty and contacted police.

She proceeded to file a missing persons report the next day when her daughter hadn’t returned to her Patterson Avenue home. While Corin has previously left at night, Smith said, she’s always returned by morning.

According to Smith, her daughter needs medication. Even when at home, the teen was avoiding the medication, which is what triggered the argument on Sunday, Smith said.

Police have checked two places and spoken with the girl’s boyfriend, who says he hasn’t seen her.

The teen is white with brown hair and hazel eyes, and wears black framed glasses. She is 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs about 110 pounds.
