Robert C. Beige, 92, of Harmony died Friday at his home.

Born June 26, 1914, in Meadville, he was the son of Merle E. and Myra E. Wipple Beige.

Mr. Beige was a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and had owned and operated the Hillside Nursery for years.

He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret "Pat" Miller Beige, whom he married Dec. 25, 1939; a daughter, Peggy Magill and her husband, James, of Zelienople; three sons, R. Michael Beige and his wife, Pat, of Beaver Falls, and Tim Beige and his wife, Cathy, and Mark Beige, all of Middle Lancaster; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Edward "Ned" Beige.
