Yes, it was a real tragedy. But for Minnesota to say it has no money to fix bridges ignores the fact that they gave over 900 million to the state employees pension fund with an unfunded mandate, and spent over 700 million on a baseball stadium (without a referendum). $1.6 billion could fix a lot of bridges.
