I agree that you need to know where money is being spent. It goes across the board, not just teacher related. I am trying not to get defensive here as I understand the frustrations of working paycheck to paycheck to only feel like they keep taking more and more of it. The average pay for teachers is nowhere near what I make. I will remain well below that average for at least the next 15 years. Right now I make 20,000 dollars less than that. It takes that long or longer to make that amount. The higher the average means that there are teachers who have been teaching for a long time in that district. (30 years or so) Cell phones? That is a crime.
