I think Ed must be a teacher or knows many teachers!! I still agree with Jim. If you break down a teachers hours over a 12 month span, they only work 27 hours a week. Who gets to work that and have all the benefits they have. I'm sorry, but the amount of money for the 186 days a year they work is an awsome salary. They really should be ashamed of themselves for not accepting a 4% raise in the first place. 4% is way more than enough. Who gets that kind of raise?? They only care about their wallet and not teaching.
