Granted some people do need help here and there. And that is OK. But the ones that have been in the system over and over again are lazy, on drugs or both. What they need to do is random drug testing for these people. I know people who sell their food stamps for cash, so they can buy drugs. Remember my son is a drug addict. He would never ask me to buy them or he knows I would turn him into the welfare office. As far as the women having baby after baby and staying on welfare is ridicules!!! The saying goes "first time shame on me, send time shame on you", there is no third time. You are off of welfare as soon as your youngest child starts school. They need better restrictions. But don't belittle the people who really need it for short periods of time. Life happens and children need food on the table. Oh, btw, I was an unwed mother and I only used welfare one time when the place I worked shut down and I went looking for a new job and took whatever I could until something better came alone. My son didn't turn out as I hoped when raising him but I did the best I could do. So if you have no disabilities or young ones at home, get out there and look for JOB. Wake up to the real world!
