Recently I took my son to the DMV in Butler to take his test. There are several employees there most of which are very nice and helpful. There is one heavy set older gentleman there however that works behind the desk that is quite possibly the rudest individual I have ever met. I guess he feels it is his duty to offer his opinion on every aspect of another persons life just because they are taking their drivers test there. Why can't they hire people with nice personalities and understanding and patience at the DMV. I have another son who took his test a few years back he told me the same thing about the same man. I didn't believe it until I saw it for myself. In the short time I was there he was rude and ignorant to several younger persons who were there for their test. Others who were older more like in their 30's and 40's he treated much better. It seems this man has a problem with young people. I think his behavior is beneath the standards that we should expect from the DMV department. I am curious to know if anyone else out there has had a similar experience with this man. If he isn't a people person, maybe he should find another occupation. I wonder if there are any openings for smart mouthed know it alls, if so this ignoramus should apply. Incidentally some of the driving teachers up there that my sons had have the same problem. No patience, rude remarks and ignorance. teachers should be thoughtful understanding and helpful and encouraging. If they can't have all of those qualities they shouldn't be teaching others or working with the public. Of course this is only my opinion. John
