As surely as there is that which may be termed as "verbal semantics", or, deriving a different interpretation according unto one's personal comprehension of a certain string of words which when combined create a sentence; so there is within the intellectual department according unto one's knowledge and comprehensional abilities.

For instance, one writer to the Letters to the Editor falsely claimed in his rant against Metcalf that the United States was a "pluralistic democracy." However, the US has never been the such like, but rather, it was founded as a Democratic Republic. A pluralistic democracy would entail everyone doing whatever one felt like doing without the consent of the majority who democratically voted upon what they desired their society's composition to be. Under a pluralistic society, aged perverts in pantyless cheerleader outfits would prey upon the innocence at playgrounds and public parks freely, under the Republic we now have the cops will go chase them down and lock the socially distempered vermin in a cage; and the People say, Amen. We as a Nation today are losing Our Republic to a small pack of black nightie clad despots that are quickly eradicating our Constitution to a court interpreted oligarchy (or, a nation ruled by judges and not the will of the People.)

The same form of semantics is involved within these debates as pertaining unto socialism and capitalism. Capitalism consists of the People using their brains to capitalize off whatsoever is at their disposal according unto their creativity for their own self betterment; and what they earn is theirs and cannot be touched by others. In socialism noone owns anything; not even their own homes if they do not pay yearly fees to the social state. In such a system you will be very rich or very poor. In today's economic atmosphere I believe that the most captalistic endeavor We the People can undertake is to rid ourselves of needless taxes via ending the white collar criminality of state laws forcing us to pay private agencies' insurance fees for our living requirements.

As for my recommendation for an organized state militia in every state in the event of a catastrophe, it is the only state of preparedness that could possibly ensure the failure of a would be totalitarian regime such as the Clintons, the One World Order Bushes, or any other segment of the anti-Christ anti-American mental cases of Congress and the Supreme Court could impose via a national catastrophe or major war whether inflicted from without or created from within.
