I have had my phone number for almost three years. During this time, the previous owners of the number have continued to give it out as if it were still their number. I know who they are and, at least as of a year ago, I know the street they live on. I also know who their doctors are, what pharmacy they use and the fact that they were about to have their electricity turned off for nonpayment of their bill. I know which jewlery store the woman uses and where the daughter works or used to work. I have spoken to just about every member of the church they attend or at one time attended. How do I put a stop to this? I should not have to have my number changed at my expense just because these people are trying to dodge everyone and anyone that they owe money to now or may owe money to in the future.
