The "surge" was not primarily responsible for the recent reduction in violence. Notice I did not use the word "success," because how can anyone possibly call Iraq a "success?" The reduction in violence in Iraq was largely due to better intelligence, which is one of the two keys to stopping terrorism. The other key is bettering the lives of ordinary people in countries where they have little to live for. Garret, everything you posted about Sarah Palin is true. Palin is the female version of George Bush. Also, why has Sarah Palin not given any interviews? There is obviously something the McCain camp is trying to hide about her.
