That's not a compliment. Sounds like everyone is enjoying a little love affair with

their new "it" girl. Some folks are so anxious for a hero that they're easily won

over by buzzwords, fistpumps and - bumps. I think Butler people have better

moral compasses than that. Resist that temptation to give in to the crowd pleaser,

bully teaser speeches. Palin hails from that long line of far right-wingers that

turned Alaska into a free for all of corruption. Take a peek behind the glitzy

image.

I hail from a more centrist Republican tradition. These people, Palin and McCain

and their ilk, bear no resemblance to the proud and historic party of my allegiance.

They are corporate-interest politicians, wrapping themselves in the flag in public

and wiping themselves with it in private.
