I've learned a few things about Sarah Palin. To touch on just a couple that are irksome to me personally, she is scientifically backwards and quite brutally hostile toward nature (poor Alaska!). Palin rolls with the good-ol-boys. Figuratively, she runs with the wolves, and literally, she clamors to support aerial killing of wolfpacks (which is done only to preserve large game for sport hunting, not for sound ecological reasons, and against the will of the people).

Consider her views of a person's right to terminate an unwanted pregnancy. Not only does Palin think abortion should be outlawed, she believes it's the government's job to hunt down and punish anyone who has an abortion or performs one, even pregnancies caused by rape or incest. She also opposes stem cell research, no matter where the stem cells are derived from - even if no life was artifically created or lost, no matter the potential benefit.

Her public stances on hot-button issues are jsut vote-getters. Most of her dealings are conducted outside the public view, as we always learn after the fact. Her slick image and glib tongue do nothing for me. She's no God-fearing, good Christian woman. She's just a thug in a dress, looking for her piece of the action.
