The Halloween Hunt on Main Street in Butler will be Oct. 28.

Children ages 2 to 10 will be able to dress up in Halloween costumes and collect candy and other treats from participating businesses on Main Street.

The event, hosted by Butler Downtown, will begin at the Butler Art Center, 344 S. Main St.

Children will be given a bag to collect their treats and will be able to participate in a crafts event.

Start times for the hunt run every half-hour from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Halloween Hunt will end at Butler Public Library, 218 N. McKean St., where story time and refreshments will be available.

Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Registration is required, with limited spots available. Cost is $5 per child, and participants can be registered online at www.butlerdowntown.org.
