Allegheny-Clarion Valley School District sports teams are planning a variety of activities for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.

The football, volleyball and cross country teams have “pink out” events every October in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The teams encourage fans to wear pink clothing to games and matches during the month and the volleyball team will sell Breast Cancer Awareness T-shirts and donate the proceeds to breast cancer research.
